Individual > Sum of the Parts

I think in the grand scheme of things, people are just afraid to find themselves without the help of someone else. That goes beyond religion, or sexual orientation, or what society encourages us to do. The ability for humans to stray from the pack and act as an individual is a proponent of the culture in which we live, and many people don’t know any better. I think that’s the worst part about being human — the fact that we can all share ourselves as we are, but many choose to side with the herd and not completely formulate own thought patterns.
